PEF partner schools

Rs 1,000 per school per month, flat, whatever the enrolment. A PSRP licensee cannot charge fees and cannot pass a software cost on to parents, and their income rises with enrolment they are contractually obliged to grow — so charging them more as they grow would be the wrong way round.

The rest of it

Why bands rather than a per-child rate

Per-child pricing is the market norm here and it has a problem: it makes every admission a cost the owner notices. For a PEF partner school that is worse than an annoyance, because growing enrolment is written into the contract. Bands mean the price changes when a school changes size, not when a child walks in.

On the Essential card the rate per child falls with every band: Rs 15 per child at the top of the first, Rs 6.67 at the top of the sixth.

No card. Thirty days, the whole product.
